Scope

Scope:

1.      Expansion of Network Connectivity;

2.      Expand the backbone network through Optical Fiber Cable to 2,600 Unions.

3.      Establishment of DWDM network:

4.      Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) network will be established/expanded in 64 districts and 400 Upazillas to cater for increasing broadband demands.

5.      Enhancement of the backbone network capacity:

6.      Enhance the backbone network capacity; this would ensure achieving 10 Gigabits per second capacity network at Upazilla level and 100 Gigabits per second capacity network at district level.

7.      Establishment of 2600 Union PoP’s to provide broadband connectivity to Union’s offices, schools and colleges, growth centers, etc.

8.      Establishment of connectivity between 1000 offices of Bangladesh Police

9.      Establishment of NMS system: Establish Network Monitoring System (NMS) to monitor and manage network operations and corresponding equipment. And

10. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Relevant training programs will be arranged at home and abroad.
